What type of paper are my announcements going to be printed on?

    They are actual photographs, printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper.  We can print them with a matte or glossy finish.

    Panel cards are printed on premium card stock with your choice of finnish.

Can you convert my color photo(s) to black and white?

    Yes, and we actually prefer to do it ourselves. This way we can make sure the brightness and contrast are at the desired levels. 

How do I get my photos to you?

    Once you’ve placed your order, simply email your original photos to photos@mibydesign.com. In the subject line of the email please include your last name.

I’m not quite sure which pictures I want to use. Can I send a couple extras?

    Of course. The wider the selection, the better. Besides, even if all the pictures are good ones, certain photos might not quite fit into a design as well as others.

What about photo editing?

    Please leave all the editing to us! We will do all we can to make your pictures look the best they can so our product will look the best it can.

What are you photo resolution requirements?

    Save the file (digital or scanned) with at least 300dpi (dots per inch) as a .jpg file. All photos should be at least 1800x1200 pixels. Please do don’t compress the file to make it smaller, as this will adversely affect the final print quality.

How long does the whole process take?

    Once we receive your order, you will receive your proof(s) within 3 business days (see proofing schedule). Then, upon approval and ordering the prints, your announcements will be printed and shipped within 2 business days. Orders are shipped USPS Priority mail and commonly arrive with in 3-6 days (sooner, depending on your location). The whole process generally takes just over a week. Delivery time will vary during holidays.

Can I use professional images for my cards/announcements?

    Yes, but not without written release from your photographer.  

Is there a minimum order?

    The minimum order is 25 cards. The exception would be panel cards which come in packages of 24.

Will I be able to make changes to my card after my proof has been created?

    Absolutely.  However, changes add to the timeline of getting the final announcements printed. 

How do I pay for my order?

    Once you approve your proof, you will be sent an invoice via email for your payment. You will be able to pay with    credit card through PayPal.

Do I need a PayPal account in order to pay?

    No. You can pay securely with a credit card though PayPal without ever signing up.

Can I cancel my order?

    You may cancel your order up to the proof approval stage with no penalty. However, once the proof is approved your order cannot be canceled.

Will my printed product print with the identical colors I see on my computer screen?

    All of our design colors are selected from the standard printing RGB color profile.  Please take into consideration that the color settings on your computer may differ slightly from the final printed product depending on the color preferences you personally select for your computer/browser. This is why we commonly match colors directly from your photos to ensure you complete satisfaction.
